The Gallatin Police Department is committed to serving the citizens of Gallatin and maintaining the high quality of life the residents of Gallatin enjoy. We encourage citizens to be active members of the community and to work together with the department to address crime and disorder issues.
Incidents that do not require the presence of an officer may be filed by emailing info@gallatinpd.org or calling 452-1313. If you call you will be connected to the dispatcher who will obtain certain information from you then transfer you to Teleserve where you will file your report. Depending on the content of what you are reporting an officer may contact you to follow up. Incidents that do not require the presence of an officer and may be taken by Teleserve or filed on line include but are not limited to: lost cell phones, lost license plates, information only reports, lost property, and suspicious incidents that have already occurred.

The academy consists of six weeks of instruction meeting on Tuesday nights from 6pm to 8pm. Class room instruction includes crime scene processing, traffic enforcement, S.W.A.T. and crisis negotiations, drug and K-9, to name a few.
