The current Public Information Officers are Officer Bill Storment and Captain Kate Novitsky. Charity box theft - Wednesday, February 03, 2016

Gallatin Police are looking for a suspect involved in the theft of a charity box at 406 South Water. A surveillance video captured the suspect standing at the counter of the business. The suspect is a black male wearing a Pittsburg Steeler’s cloth hat, black coveralls, and a white tee-shirt. The male also had orange shoes, and it looked like the male had a cast or boot on one of his feet. The male left in a small black car. The photo below shows you the suspect.

Cameron Leaverton - Monday, February 01, 2016

Gallatin police is needing assistance from the public in locating Cameron Leaverton.   Leaverton has active warrants for a Burglary, Theft and Vandalism that took place in our City yesterday around 2244 hours.  Leaverton also is in possession of a Gallatin City vehicle a 2004 White, Chevy HD with registration GW6508 that he stole yesterday around 0300 hours.  Leaverton is considered to be armed and extremely dangerous.  Leaverton was last seen in Gallatin on February 1st, but also has active warrants in Hendersonville as well.

Locating Gregory L. Epperson for harassment - Monday, January 25, 2016

Gallatin police need assistance from the public to locate a suspect wanted for harassment. Gregory L. Epperson 3-5-1967 (48 years old) of Robertson County has continued to use electronic means to harass his former spouse. Mr. Epperson is under a no contact order following a previous domestic violence conviction and also a temporary order of protection. Mr. Epperson also is on probation and failed to report with his probation officer at his last scheduled appointment in January. A warrant is outstanding in Sumner County for 1 count of Harassment and additional charges may be pending. Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Mr. Epperson is asked to call the Gallatin Police Department.

Delta Express Station robbery - Friday, January 15, 2016

On Thursday night, January 14, 2016, Gallatin police responded to a robbery that occurred at about 11:45 p.m. at the Delta Express Station located at 406 South Water Ave. The suspect entered the store wearing blue jeans and a black jacket with a hood pulled up over his head. The suspect first asked if his buddy was there and then came further into the store and asked if the two clerks were the only ones in the store. He then grabbed the male clerk and pushed him behind the counter with the female clerk and demanded all the money. The suspect took a small amount of money and after the timed safe would not open, the suspect fled on foot. The suspect was last seen headed east across the street on South Water. The suspect is described as a black male in his early to mid 20’s. Store security video captured the below pictures of the suspect.
